Base Camp Tanzania is an award-winning safari and mountain climbing operator based in Arusha, the main crossroads for all safaris in Tanzania. Founded in 1997 by Achmed and Zainab Phillips, we combine British operational standards with deep Tanzanian expertise, built on a family with over twenty years in tourism.

We run ecologically friendly safaris in custom-fitted Toyota Landcruisers, designed for small groups with pop-up roofs for 360-degree game viewing. A client is more than a friend to us — that philosophy drives everything we do.
